   Kale Ryan

Kale Ryan joined Golden Fish in 2007 at the age of 10 after growing up with dancing and swimming. They were inspired through watching Anna and GF athlete Tarren Otte at the Beijing Olympics.

In 2010 Kale joined the Australian Youth & Junior National Team, representing Australia at various competitions such as New Zealand National Championships and the Oceania Championships.
In 2012, after the London Olympics, Kale joined the Senior National Team.
In 2013, Kale began coaching the younger swimmers at Golden Fish, including now Olympian Anastasia Kusmawan.
Kale retired in 2014 and took a break from the sport before returning in 2019.
They soon began competing again and returned to coaching by 2021.

These days Kale can be found coaching the younger age groups as well as the masters while also competing himself.

   Brie Roberts

Brie discovered a passion for artistic swimming in early primary school and dedicated over a decade to the sport. Beginning her competitive career in the sport early on in her childhood and carrying on all throughout her primary and secondary education, she has since transitioned from athlete to coach, channeling her experience and love for the water into mentoring the next generation. Hoping as a coach to inspire all of our beginner g-fishies to grow in both skill and confidence as well as develop a love of this incredible sport.

   Katalin Weber
Kata commenced artistic swimming at the age of nine under the guidance of Kriszti Szedlak and Szilvia Faraga, and she has continued to participate in the sport since that time. Between 2009 and 2023, she had the honour of representing her club at various international championships throughout Europe, as well as at the Hungarian Nationals on several occasions.

Upon relocating to Australia in 2024, Kata was inspired by Kriszti to pursue coaching. Given her extensive experience in the water, it was a natural progression for her to not only swim for Golden Fish but also to embrace the opportunity to instruct younger athletes.

   Natalie Chung
Natalie Chung is a passionate artistic swimmer and dedicated assistant coach who brings energy and heart to every session. Having fallen in love with Artistic Swimming at just seven years old, Natalie has since carved out an impressive journey - proudly representing Australia at the Youth World Championships in Athens, Greece and the Junior World Championships in Lima, Peru.

As she continues to grow in her coaching role, Natalie remains laser-focused on her ultimate goal: to compete for Australia at the senior level and one day perform on the world’s biggest stage - the Olympic Games.
